On Thursday morning, we held our 2nd Vikings Values Breakfast. The purpose of the breakfast is to recognize students who have made a meaningful impact within our school community, demonstrated exceptional character, leadership, kindness, helpfulness, or high moral values. The students who were recognized were: Noah, Charity, Tara, Steven, Emma Jo, Irena, Faith, Brody, Kaylee, Tripp, Carissa, Derek, Kenna, Wesson, Colten, and Peyton. Tonight is our Big Idea Event from 5:30–7:00 PM for all BRV families. Please enter through the elementary cafeteria doors. We have something for every family, including ham, spaghetti, peanut butter and jelly, fresh produce, pancake mix and maple syrup, toilet paper, and more. This is completely free, and the only requirement is that you belong to the BRV community. Strong community participation helps us continue to offer events like this for our families. Last week, on Thursday, April 16th, our High School Baseball Team received an Exemplary Behavior from the IHSAA Official working the event. Here is what he said. "Nolan did a great job catching tonight. He was very friendly. We talked the whole game. I told him I was going to give him a sportsmanship award and he shook my hand after the game . Their bus was parked right by our car and he came up and shook my hand again. You should be very proud to have this guy in your school system." Thank you, Nolan and the BRV Baseball Team, for displaying great sportsmanship last week!
