Preschool-6th Grade Families:
I appreciate your patience with the new BRV App and our Rooms rollout this semester. Please check that your BRV app is up to date. An update was pushed out this week, so check your app store. Every Preschool–6th-grade student now has an accurate parent/guardian account attached according to what you entered in PowerSchool during registration.

If you’re still having trouble logging in, try using the email or phone number you used to register for school. You can select “Forgot Password” or “One-Time Code” to reset access.

Apple users: Notifications are still inconsistent, so please check the app daily to be sure you don’t miss messages or announcements.

🍬 Sweet Math in Action! 🍬
Our 3rd graders had a treat learning about fractions during Target! They used candy corn to compare fractions and practice math skills in a fun, hands-on way. Nothing like a little sugar and strategy to make learning stick! 🍭 #VikingVictories

🎮 E-Sports Club Starts Tonight! 🎮

Just a reminder that our E-Sports Club kicks off after school today at the elementary for 3rd-6th grade students that have signed up. We’re excited for an awesome first day of gaming fun and teamwork! 💻✨

📍 Pick-up: South side of the elementary at the Main entrance

Reminder: All BRV families are welcome to attend "The Big Idea" event this evening from 5:30-7:00 in the BRV Elementary Cafeteria. Please enter through the cafeteria doors. Anyone who attends will be able to take home food and hygiene supplies at no cost to them. There will also be access to community resources available. We are excited for this new partnership with Second Harvest Food Bank. We hope to see you there!

We are looking forward to seeing you today (October 17, 2025) during Parent Teacher Conferences! Please enter through the main office doors of either building. The elementary school has the Book Fair open all day today as well. One minor adjustment to the day - the food truck canceled due to illness, so we will not have any food available for purchase. We are sorry for the inconvenience. We will see you soon!

NHS will be hosting a Blood Drive on Monday, October 20th from 11:00 am - 6:00 pm in Shelton Gymnasium. Please sign up to donate if you are eligible and willing!

Don't forget to join us on Friday, October 17th for Parent/Teacher Conferences. Elementary parents can schedule with the teacher and the Jr/Sr High School is open house style from 8:00 - 11:00 am and 12:00 - 3:00 pm. There will also be a food truck on campus, Danger Dog, that is open for anyone to purchase!

It’s Book Fair week! 🎉 Students will have a preview day Monday, then shopping begins on Tuesday! The Book Fair will also be open 8-4 during Parent/Teacher conferences on Friday. Just a friendly reminder that Picture Retakes are tomorrow (Monday, September 29th) for both the Elementary and Jr/Sr High School. If you would like retakes, please bring back the originals. If you missed the Picture Day in August, you will get your pictures taken tomorrow.

Reminder: BRV students have a Waiver Day tomorrow, September 17, 2025. Students do not report to school and do not have E-Learning. Students who attend the career center or have dual credit courses should plan to still attend those classes.
