Just a reminder that Monday, April 8th will be an E-Learning Day for Blue River Valley Schools. Assignments will be posted by 9:00 am and teachers will be available via email until 3:15 pm. Our BRV campus will be closed during the day, but there are many exciting events throughout Henry County for you to participate in if you would like.
Due to the full day of E-Learning on April 8th, we changed our instructional calendar for April 10th. April 10th will be a typical Late-Start Wednesday, but we will not have PM E-learning. It will be a regular Wednesday school day.

Laurie Lunsford is an author and illustrator from Yorktown. She came to read to Kindergarten and First Grade this week! Her new story is called, The Solar Eclipse is Coming. We really enjoyed her visiting Blue River!! #VikingVictories
Last Friday, BRV Elementary hosted the NED show. NED stands for Never give up, Encourage others, and Do your best! This program instills kids with messages like showing kindness, doing your best, and having an awesome mindset for learning all while learning some cool yo-yo tricks! Students should have brought home an order form for their very own yo-yo last week. Thank you @NEDassembly for visiting our school for a fun program!
6th graders are planning a colony on Mars! They have to make decisions about the best equipment, locations, and resources to use while staying under budget for money and energy usage. #VikingVictories
Landon Abbott and Anastasia Allen participated in the regional science fair this weekend at Ball State University. Landon, a 4th grader, won 1st place in the Elementary division with his project "A Greasy Situation". Landon also earned first place in the Biology/Health Science division. Anastasia is a 5th grader, and participated in the junior division. She received honorable mention in the chemistry category with her project "Volcanic Eruptions". Way to go to our Viking Scientists!
