Reminder: All BRV families are welcome to attend "The Big Idea" event this evening from 5:30-7:00 in the BRV Elementary Cafeteria. Please enter through the cafeteria doors. Anyone who attends will be able to take home food and hygiene supplies at no cost to them. There will also be access to community resources available. We are excited for this new partnership with Second Harvest Food Bank. We hope to see you there!

The elementary school has the Book Fair open all day today as well. One minor adjustment to the day - the food truck canceled due to illness, so we will not have any food available for purchase. Just a friendly reminder that Picture Retakes are tomorrow (Monday, September 29th) for both the Elementary and Jr/Sr High School. If you would like retakes, please bring back the originals. If you missed the Picture Day in August, you will get your pictures taken tomorrow.

We are grateful to the Henry County Sheriff's Office for supporting our staff with school safety training this afternoon.
After diving into school finance, our staff shifted focus to building resiliency in student behavior and discipline. A big thank you to Lora Wilson and the East Central Educational Service Center for helping us continue to grow and support our students.
Our staff is already hard at work learning about school finance and planning for the future. A big thank you to Chad Blacklock from Stifel for joining us this morning and supporting our BRV team!
Reminder: BRV students have a Waiver Day tomorrow, September 17, 2025. Students do not report to school and do not have E-Learning. Students who attend the career center or have dual credit courses should plan to still attend those classes.

📢 Breaking News! 97.2% of Blue River Valley 3rd Graders Pass IREAD! 🎉📚
We are so proud of our current 4th graders, who exceeded the state’s goal of a 95% pass rate on IREAD-3 with an incredible 97.2%, placing BRV in the top 6% of school corporations in the entire state of Indiana! 🏆
This achievement wouldn’t be possible without the dedication of our students, teachers, staff, and families. Our teachers worked tirelessly, our staff supported every step of the way, and our parents and guardians provided the encouragement and practice at home that helped our students shine.
