Blue River Valley Schools will operate on a 2-hour delay today, January 25, 2024.
Tonight's Varsity and JV boys basketball game at Hagerstown is still on as scheduled at this time. All other junior high and high school practices are considered optional. Coaches will send out more information. Events for tomorrow are still on as scheduled except for the State Welding Contest which has been postponed. Please use caution in the winter weather.
Update for 1/19/24 - BRV will be completing Synchronous E-Learning for today, Friday, January 19, 2024. Both buildings will begin live instruction at 10:00 AM. All K-12 students should log into Canvas. Further schedule details will be emailed to parents and students via the building principals.
Good Morning Vikings. The software we use for the phone messaging system is currently experiencing technical difficulties. When we have a change in our school day, we use social media, text messages, email, and voice calls to reach as many of our staff and student contacts as possible. The phone call is still "running" so many of you did not receive the phone call this morning. You could still receive the call at some point today. We are sorry for any confusion and are working to resolve this issue. Thank you.

Celebrating Viking Excellence with Mrs. Flesher's 4th graders today. The 4th graders presented a playground proposal to Mr. McCormick this afternoon. Their presentation included data from students in every grade of the school, various solutions with different costs, a portfolio, and even a business card. Their presentation was top-notch. Stay tuned in the coming weeks to see if they will get a kickball set, a gaga pit, an ace flyer, or a geo dome climber.
Blue River Valley Schools will operate on a 2-hour delay on Wednesday, January 17, 2024. School will start at 10:00 am for students. We will not have Late Start Wednesday due to the delayed start time. Elementary car-rider students will begin drop off at 9:45 am. As a reminder breakfast is not served on two-hour delay days. Be careful and stay warm!

All after-school activities including Elementary Agriculture Club, Junior High Girls Basketball practice, and Varsity and JV Girls Basketball practice have been canceled for this afternoon, January 12, 2024. At this time, the Varsity and JV Boys Basketball game is still on as scheduled at Randolph Southern. If there are further developments, we will notify you. Please be careful on the roads.

What a fun Saturday morning with our Jr. Vikings! We have over 60 basketball players this year. Thank you to our volunteers for making this possible!
If you didn't get a chance to see Pure Imagination last night, there are 2 performances today! Today's shows are at 2:30 and 7:00. The doors open 30 minutes before. Adult tickets are $6 and student tickets are $3.
